I joined Kaye Son & Co Ltd, shipowners and brokers, at Plantation House in the City in October 1956 and Roger joined shortly afterwards. We became great friends and Roger was my best man at my wedding and I was his best man at his wedding to Rosemary. I can remember that in our early days at Kaye's, Roger built his catamaran and then I think his interests moved to skiing during which time I think he met Rosemary. I look back on our time together at Kaye's with very happy memories. In April 1975, I left Kayes for another company but my wife, Jean and I kept in touch with Roger and Rosemary and over the years enjoyed many lunches together either in the Epping area or in our own area near Hertford. Jean and I will remember Roger and Rosemary with great affection. Neil Currie
